The first Jinan in Style International Fashion Week hosted by the Jinan Municipal Government and the Asian Couture Federation (ACF) has been successfully over.
It took place from November 19 to 21, 2019 in Jinan International Fashion Creative Center, Shandong, China. Moreover, this was the first couture fashion week by the ACF in China with six couturiers, all of whom have world-class design masters, gathered in Jinan. It has a focus on building a platform for global fashion design innovators. Particularly, the event celebrates the borderless nature of creativity and seeks to promote the revival of traditional culture and artisan skills in the contemporary era.
Six internationally renowned designers including
- Guo Pei, an important member of ACF & currently the only Chinese member.
- Yumi Katsura, renowned Japanese wedding dress couturier.
- Acclaimed menswear designer SONGZIO.
- An extraordinary talent Lie Sang Bong from South Korea.
- Sebastian Gunawan from Indonesia.
- Also, the prodigious talent of Paolo Sebastian from Australia.
—participated at the event and hosted the Jinan in Style International Fashion Week show. In addition, the Forum with Masters has been moderated by Ms Casey Hall, Business of Fashion’s (BoF) Asia correspondent.
