Paul & Shark new pop-up store at Munich Airport

Following its successful opening of two new stores in Istanbul Airport, luxury Italian lifestyle brand Paul & Shark recently opened another attractive pop-up store in Munich Airport.

The store is 35 sqm pop-up and located in the T2 Level 4_Eventshop30 Area. It continues the brand’s bid to become synonymous with travel retail in Europe and Asia. Moreover, the store will remain open for two months (May and June). It features the timeless ALWAYS collection.  As well as the fresh and the eye-catching newness of its spring/summer 2019 range.

The Munich Airport pop-up store furthers the success of Paul & Shark in its most consolidated markets. These include Europe, China and Russia. Where it is investing to support a continuous retail expansion strategy with accompanying positive knock-on effects for travel retail.

The store is a sleek and compelling mix of glass and steel elements. It is set off by overhead fluorescent installations that represent Paul & Shark’s ideal combination of contemporary design. As well as high-quality materials, great technological research and extreme attention to detail.

To celebrate the opening, all customers who make a purchase will receive a special Paul & Shark branded gift. In a further bid to appeal to Munich flyers, there are two additional stimulating activities underway.
  • All customers who purchase any item in-store being entered into a raffle in which three lucky winners will be randomly picked.
  • They will win a personalized polo shirt with a choice of embroidery.
  • There is also the opportunity to take a selfie in front of the striking “Shark Wall”. Then post the image on social media using the tags #paulandshark and #sharktravel to win their very own plush shark.

Paul & Shark Global Travel Retail Director Catherine Bonelli said: “We are proud to mark the summer of yet another successful year with the opening of our Munich pop-up store. Our recent openings in travel retail and elsewhere, as well as the reimagining of our brand with the Nick Wooster collaboration, have been very well received in recent months.

“Now is the perfect time to broaden our appeal with fashion-conscious consumers in one of the most vital and important transport hubs in Europe that welcomes some 46 million travellers per year.”
