A year since the Single Malt Whisky relaunched with a collection of new whiskies. Including five exclusive expressions for Global Travel Retail – Jura will launch a new 21 years old expression at TFWA Asia Pacific (Whyte & Mackay, Basement 2, 2-C5).

About the launch:

Time and Tide are a pair of exceptional 21-year-old whiskies. With not one, but two 21-year-old expressions, Jura offers a classic Single Malt age statement. They are popular with enthusiast whisky consumers worldwide. The pair produces to strict allocation due to the limited availability of Jura’s older aged maturing inventory.

Jura Single Malt whisky has enjoyed exceptional growth since re-launch. Moreover achieving +274% in the region in 2018*.  Jura 21 Years Old Time will be exclusively available for purchase in Global Travel Retail.


Located off the west coast of Scotland, the Isle of Jura is home to a tiny island community. Consisting of roughly 212 islanders, one road, one pub and one distillery.  Since 1810 the unique island malt distillery has been at the heart of the community. Jura 21 Years Old Time presents in a beautiful, sandblasted bottle. As if polished smooth by the Atlantic tide that laps the shores of Jura.

The Single Malt whisky produced on Jura is much loved by whisky consumers worldwide. These two new expressions offer a unique point of difference for collectors and key trade channels. Jura 21 Years Old Tide will be released for domestic markets. Whilst Jura Time is the exclusive release for Global Travel Retail and will launch at TFWA Asia Pacific in May 2019.

Jura Time is matured for 21 years in American White Oak ex-bourbon barrels. The perfect maturation partner for the light, citrus and grassy new make spirit distilled on the island. It enhances with a smoky finish in ex-peated malt casks.  The result is seductive sweetness with a salted peat smoke edge. Produced in small batches, each whisky will carry the year of bottling to denote the subtle variations in the batches as they are assembled each year.
