Fragrance Creators Association launched a dedicated COVID-19 section of its website, FragranceCreators.org
The new COVID-19 Resource page is a comprehensive collection of the latest updates, rules, guidance, and tools. They provide specific and meaningful help for the fragrance supply chain. The resource section goes beyond sharing the association’s advocacy efforts and other general information. It is designed to empower companies as they focus on adapting their business to protect their workers. Also, to support the nation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
The association is rapidly delivering critical information on a multitude of subjects. To help members navigate the rapidly evolving public and worker health, business, and regulatory landscape. Moreover, the newly launched resource section features links to Fragrance Creators’ daily regulatory updates, news, key policymaker communications, leadership insights, tools, and more.
Farah Ahmed, President & CEO, Fragrance Creators said:
“These are difficult times and we are proud of our member companies and their dedicated workers. They are empowering businesses to help during the COVID-19 crisis. Our duty as a trade association is to rapidly deliver meaningful support—especially at this time. The new section of our website is one way we are fulfilling that duty.”
Fragrance Creators responded immediately to the COVID-19 pandemic with decisive action. Following the release of its COVID-19 Action Plan, the association issued a letter to federal, state, and local elected officials and policymakers to protect the manufacture of fragrance, a critical input for cleaning and sanitizing products. It also provided “COVID-19 Essential Business” template letters, “COVID-19 Essential Worker” template cards, and “COVID-19 Essential Shipment” template placards, which are intended to educate authorities that the fragrance supply chain is included in the Federal government’s “essential business” designation and, therefore, should be exempt from state/local-mandated COVID-19-related closures.
Fragrance Creators Association is the principal trade association representing the fragrance industry. The organization’s member companies create and manufacture fragrances and scents for home care, personal care, home design, fine fragrance, and industrial and institutional products. Fragrance Creators also represents companies that market finished products containing fragrance as well as those that supply fragrance ingredients, including natural extracts and other raw materials that are used in perfumery and fragrance mixtures. Fragrance Creators produces Fragrance Notes, the publication of record for the fragrance industry, available in print and online at fragrancenotes.org.
