“Fearless is the New Adventure”, says Fatima AlMattar

Loving what you do makes you love that thing more

The most beautiful places in the world can’t be captured in lens but seen through naked eyes. Exploring the nature makes a person humble and broadens the perspective in so many ways. The earth is filled with plethora of resources; it allows to see how other people live and what they have to deal with on a daily basis.

DutyFreeList in conversation with Fatima AlMattar, a travel blogger.

What were the 3 most memorable experiences you had in the year 2018?

My 2018 was absolutely exciting and inspiring! Each place competed with the other with its beauty and experiences. Amongst them are so memorable were: Kayaking Expedition in Alaska, Attending the World Cup in Russia, and Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Do you have a bucket list for 2019? If so, what are the 5 things on it?

Currently, and since I ticked off many of my bucket list items I still look forward to 2 things in particular and I hope I get to do them this year; visiting Bora Bora, and Hot Air Ballooning in Cappadocia.

What has been your favourite past time to-do during flight journey?

Flight journey is often the best time to sit back and relax after a trip. looking back at the pictures, videos , and even boomerangs take back you to the memories. I find this time perfect to edit videos and photographs!

We surely know you’re an adventurous junkie. Share 1 secret (exposé) you want to reveal to your fans who see your picture-perfect Instagram 😊?

There is no such thing as a “fearless” when it comes to adventures and related activities. The secret is not to be fearless, the secret is to know you’re afraid, but have the courage to do it anyway.

What’s totally different experience you want to dive-in 2019? A suggestion for travel enthusiasts? Places, experiences?

I would recommend exploring Vietnam in 2019. This country has so much to offer, hidden gems and has started focusing majorly on tourism so it is the exact time to visit Vietnam.

I don’t have any totally different experience on mind that I feel I wanna explore in 2019. Within my line and what I do though; I feel like I want to dive into videography and Ariel photography more. I’ve been loving the feel of producing Ariel content and I’d like to grow it more. I’m the type of person that likes to develop and grow my skills something I like before I move to something else If I decide to.
