How would you describe your 2018, in terms of best cities to visit?
In 2018 I’ve travelled a lot but unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to visit all the cities in which I landed. But to mention something I have really good memories in Biarritz the surfing paradise situated in France on the south-west coast, and the Provence region in the south part always in France. The amazing landscape through lavender hills, full of the small and old village to stop at least half day!
Any unusual request that you came across while on duty via a traveller.
Once I was on a flight and a lady asked me to heat the floor because she had cold feet. Ok! I fly on a business jet plane, but our plane is not equipped as the Brunei sultan one! 😅😅
What is the secret to managing work and life with grace?
When I’m home I enjoy every single moment, and I do just what I want to do with the people I love! Then when I start to work I’m focused on my working week. Let’s say that I keep work commitments and free time well separated. Our job is really stressful so you have to find a way to relax. And moreover, recover as much as possible on any occasion you have, even if you’re on duty.
3 strengths according to you is a must-have in this profession.
Absolutely yes as all many other jobs. But this, in particular, requires a lot of motivation, perseverance, focus, patience and you must be in love with the sky of course! It’s not always an easy life, especially because you work very closely to your colleague for 6 days (in my case) and you must have a really flexible and adaptable character.
Do you use any travel related app(s)? If yes, what are they?
Yes of course! I use apps like Skyscanner, to see with which airline I can come back home when I’m released from duty. Booking, TripAdvisor is fundamental if you’re around Europe and you have no idea where you can have dinner! They are very useful!
