Armani Box at Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Airport

New range of cosmetics at the new pop-up store, also giving opportunity to shoppers to film their own screen test

Giorgio Armani Beauty has opened its travel retailing pop-up store, ARMANI BOX at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand.

The grand ribbon cutting ceremony marked the inauguration of the ARMANI BOX at the Departure Hall. In the presence of influencers from Thailand and China an exclusive event was done on February 11. The store will remain at the airport until the end of the month.

During the event, the impression of ARMANI BOX BANGKOK was revealed: with its hot red enclosure and black lighting fixtures, it is full of surprises.

A giant model gorilla at the entrance of the store is giving an utterly cinematic appearance. Italian artist Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba designed Uri, as they call it. It is the replica of the black one that resides in Giorgio Armani’s home in Milan. The resin gorilla is a gift that came from the movie sets.

Giorgio Armani is giving a full-fledged movie star experience to its shoppers. The new pop-up ARMANI BOX experience allows the visitor to become a movie star with a series of details to explore. From the Walk of Fame digital handprint to the backstage makeup stations, as well as a red carpet indicating the way. The shoppers also get the opportunity to film their very own screen test, entering the director’s booth and playing with their emotions; and post online.

The ARMANI BOX gives a scintillating and dynamic impression, which is visible to expect from the brand. Visitors can discover product exclusives included a limited-edition version of its new lip product Rouge d’Armani Matte #400. They can also personalize it with their respective names at the engraving station.

An Armani spokesperson said: “The Armani Box is a sensorial and playful immersion in Giorgio Armani beauty’s universe.”

The Box pop-up in Bangkok follows similar activations at the likes of Hong Kong International Airport and Sydney Airport.
